The producers of this weekend's Academy Awards have denied rumours that they will bring together all six James Bond actors for a 50th anniversary celebration at the Oscars this Sunday in LA.

The Academy will pay tribute to 50 years of Bond with an on-stage performance and there has been much media speculation about Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig all stepping out on stage together.

"It's something else, something very unique and very exciting, but no, we're not getting the Bonds together," said Craig Zadan, the co-producer of this year's ceremony, in an interview with Deadline.

Adele has already been confirmed to perform her Oscar-nominated theme from Skyfall, while Dame Shirley Bassey, who belted out the theme to Goldfinger, will make her first Academy Awards appearance on the night.

Naomie Harris, who plays MI6 field agent Eve in Skyfall, has also confirmed that she will be at the ceremony which is being hosted by Family Guy creator and Ted director Seth MacFarlane.
