Die Hard star Bruce Willis has apologised for his less than impressive interview on BBC One's The One Show last week.

Die Hard star Bruce Willis has apologised for his less than impressive interview on BBC One's The One Show last week.

Willis appeared on the live show to promote the latest installment in the Die Hard franchise, A Good Day to Die Hard, where he was interviewed by presenters Alex Jones and Matt Baker. He gave short answers and did not appear enthusiastic about being in the studio.

Now the actor has told UK radio station XFM, "I have to apologise. I didn't get very many compliments about it.

"They said he was a little stale. But I was so jet-lagged. I'm very sorry, you kids on The One Show."

He added: "I'm sure it's not their problem. I was a little bit boring, I think. I had a little sinking spell, that's all."

Following the interview, Alex Jones tweeted "Bruce Willis has tired me out. It was a bit of a challenge, to say the least."

A Good Day to Die Hard is in cinemas from tomorrow.
