When Albums Ruled the World (9.00pm, BBC Four)
This incredibly special one-off documentary investigates what is arguably the most important period in popular music history. From Bob Dylan to the Beatles, The Who to Led Zeppelin, Marvin Gaye to Bob Marley, Pink Floyd to Fleetwood Mac, ideas became as important as melody, and music became art in the form of some of the most legendary albums ever recorded. This exciting one-hour documentary remembers the rise and decline of the vinyl LP. What a treat on a Friday night! Let the weekend commence!

The Wedding Band (11.10pm, TV3)
I only recently started watching this show and now I'm completely hooked. I thought after the first episode that the series had the potential to get repetitive and boring pretty fast. The arrangement of the songs spread throughout the show is witty, clever and well-thought-out. Brian Austin Green steals the show as Tommy. This week he has some big family news when his womanising father arrives in town, but instead of the usual round of drinking and partying, he reveals he is planning to walk down the aisle for the sixth time! Meanwhile, Rutherford competes with a rival planner, and Roxie must tackle an unusual client. Well worth a watch!

From Here to Maternity (8.30pm, RTÉ One)
We meet Anne Nyhan and Tahir Riaz, who are expecting their first baby together in three weeks' time. The pregnancy was totally unexpected. This will be Anne's fourth child but her first with Tahir. Meanwhile, Rachel and Ronan's story continues. Rachel had been diagnosed with Placenta Previa, a potentially dangerous condition. After a difficult pregnancy and Caesarean section, Rachel and Ronan were relieved when their son was born. However, Baby Rian is now experiencing some difficulties. We also visit the neo natal ward. It looks set to be an emotional episode.
