Emeli Sandé leads the nominees for this year's Brit Awards with four nominations.

Sandé is nominated for Best British Female Solo Artist, Best Single (Next to Me), Best Album (Our Version of Events) and for her collaboration with Labrinth on his track Beneath Your Beautiful.

Mumford and Sons, Rita Ora and Alt-J are nominated for three awards each.

Mumford and Sons are nominated for Best British Group, Best Live Act and Best Album (Babel).

Ora receives nominations for Best British Breakthrough Act and Best Single nods for RIP and for her collaboration with DJ Fresh on Hot Right Now.

Alt-J are nominated for Best British Breakthrough Act, Best British Group and Best Album (An Awesome Wave).

Muse, Plan B, Coldplay, Paloma Faith, Jessie Ware and Olly Murs are among the other multiple nominees.

Ireland's The Script are nominated for Best International Group.

Amy Winehouse is posthumously nominated for Best British Female Solo Artist.

The winners will be announced on February 20.
