Daly suspended for role in Clare club final

The Clare County Board have suspended Dublin hurling manager Anthony Daly for four weeks and new Kerry manager Tom Howard for eight weeks.
The ban is for their involvement in an altercation during the Clare county minor final between Clarecastle, who were then managed by Howard, and Kilmaley.
Clarecastle selector Stephen Sheedy has also been suspended for four weeks and Kilmaley’s Niall Romer for eight weeks.
Both clubs have been fined €3,000.
The clubs and individuals involved have until Thursday to lodge appeals and it is not yet clear what date the suspensions will run from.
If the suspensions are dated to the end of the investigation then Daly will be free to walk the sideline for Dublin's opening game in the Walsh Cup on 27 January.
As Howard's ban is longer it will limit his involvement with his new charges.
